James Kennedy, a cast member of Bravo’s “Vanderpump Rules,” was arrested Tuesday evening on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic violence, according to Burbank Police Department officials.
Police responded to a residence at approximately 11:30 p.m. following reports of an altercation between a man and a woman, Burbank Police Sergeant Stephen Turner said. After determining the incident was domestic in nature, officers took Kennedy into custody.
The reality television personality and DJ was released Wednesday after posting a $20,000 bond, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department records. The Burbank City Attorney’s Office confirmed Thursday that the case remains under review pending formal charges.
Kennedy has appeared on “Vanderpump Rules” since 2014, though he was not slated to return for the upcoming season. At the time of the incident, Kennedy had been residing with his girlfriend Ally Lewber, whom he began dating in 2022.
Representatives for both Kennedy and Lewber have not responded to requests for comment regarding the incident.
