Victoria Jones was the daughter of Tommy Lee Jones and his first wife, Kimberlea Cloughley. The couple, married from 1981 to 1996, also has a son, Austin. Jones married photographer Dawn Laurel-Jones in 2001.
Although she did not pursue a long-term acting career, Victoria briefly appeared on screen during her youth. She made her acting debut in the 2002 film “Men in Black II” during her teenage years. She later appeared in a 2003 episode of “One Tree Hill” and had a role in the 2005 film “The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada,” which was directed by her father.
That project also involved Dawn Laurel-Jones, who served as the stills photographer on the film, marking one of the few instances in which multiple members of the Jones family were connected to the same production. After that period, Victoria largely stepped away from acting and lived outside the public spotlight.
Tommy Lee Jones is widely regarded as one of Hollywood’s most respected actors, earning an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for “The Fugitive” and receiving additional nominations for “JFK,” “In the Valley of Elah,” and “Lincoln.” He is also known for starring roles in “No Country for Old Men” and the “Men in Black” franchise.
Despite his prominence, Jones has rarely spoken publicly about his children, and little is known about Victoria’s adult life. Officials have not provided details about why she was staying at the Fairmont or how long she had been there prior to her death.
The Fairmont San Francisco, a historic luxury hotel overlooking Nob Hill, remained open following the incident. Hotel representatives have not publicly commented.
