LONDON (AP) — Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, released their annual holiday card Monday, featuring an uncommon glimpse of their children in a casual family scene among a collage of images from the past year.
The card shows the couple crouching with outstretched arms as Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3, run toward them, though their faces are not visible to the camera — maintaining the family’s strict approach to their children’s privacy. This marks the first time since 2021 that the couple has included their children in their holiday greeting.
The seasonal message reads, “On behalf of the office of Prince Harry & Meghan, the Duke & Duchess of Sussex, Archewell Productions and Archewell Foundation, we wish you a very Happy Holiday Season and a joyful New Year.”
According to PA Media, this professionally released card is separate from a private version that will be sent to close family and friends.
The release comes as other members of the British royal family share their own holiday greetings. King Charles and Queen Camilla opted for an informal approach, choosing an April photograph taken in Buckingham Palace’s gardens. Princess Anne’s card features herself and husband Vice-Adm. Tim Laurence waving from a ceremonial carriage procession from June.
