Actress Megan Fox and musician Machine Gun Kelly have ended their four-year relationship just weeks after announcing they were expecting their first child together, according to multiple reports.
The split occurred during a Thanksgiving holiday trip to Vail, Colorado, TMZ reported Monday. Sources close to the situation told the outlet that Fox, who announced her pregnancy in November when she was approximately four to five months along, discovered concerning material on Kelly’s phone during the trip, leading to his early departure.
The couple began dating in May 2020 after Fox appeared in Kelly’s music video, and they became engaged in 2022. Their relationship has been characterized by public ups and downs that have frequently garnered social media attention. Kelly, whose real name is Colson Baker, is father to a 15-year-old daughter, Casie, from a previous relationship.
As news of the breakup spread, speculation emerged about a potential romance between Fox and actor Michele Morrone, her co-star in the upcoming 2024 film “Subservience.” However, Morrone’s representative quickly dismissed these rumors.
“Any accusations beyond a work friendship are simply untrue,” the representative told E! News on December 10. “They filmed a movie together a year ago. Michele is currently in Italy filming another project.”
Fox, 37, was previously married to actor Brian Austin Green, with whom she shares three children: Noah, 10, Bodhi, 9, and Journey, 7. Neither Fox nor Kelly has publicly commented on the reasons for their separation, and it remains unclear whether this latest split will be permanent.
The breakup comes at a significant time as the former couple prepares for the arrival of their child. Before the separation, Fox had shared insights about how their blended family was preparing for the new addition.
