The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration‘s investigation revealed a potential safety concern where debris accumulation in the front harness adjuster area could compromise the adjuster mechanism’s effectiveness. Specifically, this debris might prevent the adjuster’s teeth from properly gripping the strap, potentially resulting in harness loosening issues.
While no injuries or fatalities have been linked to this defect, Nuna is taking proactive measures by offering affected customers a comprehensive remedy kit containing:
- A new seat pad
- A cleaning kit
- Updated care instructions
